Art in my dinning room... :-)

My grandpa was born in 1912...
I remember when my grandma sent this picture away to have it colorized and enlarged when I was a kid.. -
It looks fake cause the color is sooo weird.. but its the real thing. -
He is sitting on a rocking horse.. I love this picture.

Aqua Dresser....results....

Pay no attention to my messy porch... I need to clean up after myself... all the stripping and scraping... and painting... tomorrow is clean up day!!!
Other than finding the perfect knobs (for not I added the old ones back on)- and finding the perfect paper to line the drawers with.... IM FINISHED.
This will be going in my bedroom once I get the carpet ripped up and expose my hardwood floors... I cant wait!
For now... its gonna have to live on my porch. :-(

found this at a garage sale this past Saturday... had an idea when I was looking at it as to what I could do with it... and wow.. THIS IS GONNA TAKE MORE WORK THAN I THOUGHT... Im already tired! But...I couldnt pass up this deal at $15.00 ... what a steal....

Old metal chairs brought back to life.

My first project this week was bringing 2 old metal chairs to life...- I wish I would have taken a before pic.- these chairs were rusty and needing a good paint job.-- I found these chairs in my moms house when she passed away and I decided to keep them and some day paint them a color that she would have enjoyed.. PURPLE!!!...(her favorite color)-
Here is the finished project on my back patio.
